First and foremost, we are a mother-daughter KPOP business.

Back in 2015, Scarlet discovered a wonderful group by the name of LADIES' CODE. She'd heard of the up-and-coming group BTS, by which now everyone has heard of, and it was through stalking their twitter comments that she came across LC!

Being only 13, this was a whole new genre to her, but she was completely in awe with it. It was quite new to her mum, Jane, too (although she does remember first hearing SHINee in 2011 when Jonathon Ross, reporting on the Korean Film Festival, caused quite a commotion when saying Ring Ding Dong and announcing he was the 6th member!) but she also became enamoured. Our family has always been so rooted in music. It's got us through every day for as long as we can remember; we are all very into our rock music, but my siblings never caught onto liking KPOP... sadly. This just meant that every car journey the two of us shared together turned into our KPOP sanctuary, and it's still true to this day!

Over the years we fell for so many groups and soloists. We've been lucky enough to go to BTS, NCT127, Stray Kids, and Super M's concerts together... but are counting down the days until the next one is finally announced! 

Of course we love so many artists, but Scarlet's ult of ult idol is NCT's Taeil, and Jane's is SHINee's Jonghyun. To us, KPOP is far more than the awesome music and stunning visuals. It's part of our daily lives, and so important to our mental wellbeing. 

We have some pretty special moments in our KPOP lives. Scarlet has had replies on twitter from a few idols: members of Ladies' Code, M.O.N.T, PurpleBeck, and the big one... NCT's TAEIL. And if you're wondering, yes, she did break down! It's hard not to boast sometimes, but it's so special to her because of everything he helped her through. DEAN once laughed at Jane's comment on his IG live (which she still taunts Scarlet about to this day). Scarlet was on the Live Online Audience for Ladies' Code's latest appearance on After School Club, and she was lucky enough to be in the Hangout section of GWSN's! Scarlet was also on the Zoom audience for SOUNDK's Ladies' Code episode, and was so shocked when she saw that she was on Ashley's IG story! At Super M, she was gutted when the members stopped throwing signed balls into the crowd and she hadn't caught one... only to turn to Jane to find her holding one of Ten's!! (Obviously that is proudly on display in her bedroom, as it should be.) Jane often gets excited that she was once the first like on a SHINee post, haha.

Since starting our business, we've been so excited to see members of groups viewing our stories and liking comments, etc. We are always absolutely overjoyed!

Jane has worked in schools, and she even incorporated KPOP (specifically BTS) into her teaching - be it using J-Hope's 'Chicken Noodle Soup' to teach phonics or BTS' 'We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal' to keep up the positivity in lessons during COVID.

Why did we decide to start up a business, though?

Well, we know the importance of collecting albums. Scarlet bought her first album in 2016, and she's frankly been addicted to it since then. Saving every penny she was given just to get an album here and there - but since starting uni it's become a total danger zone! At the end of the day, these are precious items with so much sentimental value that we thought why not? We can spread the love of something we are so passionate about. To us, it's all about that. We want to make sure your albums come in the most perfect condition, but we also want you to feel cared for as our customers; that's why we pay so much attention to our packaging and presentation. 

We truly hope that any customers we have will grow to love our business. We genuinely care about every single person, and we mean this wholeheartedly.

We are an extremely small business but we have dreams bigger than you can imagine - not just for our personal gain but for the KPOP community as a whole.
